Affiliate Terms

Welcome to the Cadmas Affiliate Program. These Terms govern your participation as an affiliate ("you"). By creating an account, you agree to them. Please read them — they explain exactly how you earn, how you get paid, and what's expected.

1. Joining

• The program is free to join. There is no fee, no purchase requirement, and no inventory to buy — ever.
• You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter a contract.
• You provide a legal name (used only for payments and tax forms) and a public creator handle.
• We may decline or remove accounts that appear to be bots, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.

2. How you earn — customer ownership

• You own the customers you bring in. When you drive a customer's first purchase through your referral link, that customer becomes permanently associated with you ("your customer").
• Active sales. When a customer purchases through your link within the applicable attribution window, you earn commission on that order at the rates shown for those products.
• Owner commission. When a customer you own returns and buys on their own (no other affiliate's link involved), you earn commission on that purchase.
• Ownership is permanent and does not transfer. Another affiliate who later drives a specific sale earns that sale, but it does not change who owns the customer.
• You cannot earn on your own purchases. If you are the customer on an order — whether it used your own code, another affiliate's code, or no code — that sale does not pay you. It is credited to the person who recruited you into the program. Everyone here was recruited by someone, and this program rewards bringing in new customers, not buying from yourself.
• Commission rates are set per product and shown in your dashboard and the catalog. Rates may change prospectively; changes do not affect commissions already earned.

3. Referring other affiliates

• You may invite others to join using your invite link. This is a single-level referral: you may earn a percentage of the sales of affiliates you personally recruit, at the rate published in your dashboard.
• There are no further levels — you do not earn from people your recruits invite. This is not a multi-level or "downline" program.
• Referral earnings are paid from Cadmas and never reduce your recruits' own commissions. You are never paid for the act of recruiting itself — only on real, completed product sales.

4. Staying active

To continue earning passive owner commissions on customers you've already brought in, you must remain active — meaning your links drive at least some activity within a rolling period (currently 90 days). If you go inactive beyond that period, passive earnings pause until you're active again. Sales you actively drive are always credited regardless.

5. Getting paid

• Payouts are handled by Stripe. You'll complete a short Stripe onboarding to provide your bank and tax information. Cadmas does not store your bank or tax details.
• You must complete payout onboarding within 60 days of signing up. Commissions accrued but unclaimed past that window may be forfeited. We send reminders before the deadline.
• Commissions are pending until the order's return window has closed, then become payable. This protects against refunded orders.
• If a customer returns or refunds an order, the related commission is reversed.
• Tax forms (such as a 1099 where applicable) are issued through Stripe. You are responsible for your own taxes.

6. No income guarantee

Your earnings depend entirely on your own effort and results. Any figures, examples, or projections shared are illustrations only — not a promise or guarantee of income. Many affiliates earn little or nothing. There is no guarantee you will earn any particular amount, or anything at all.

7. How you promote

• Promote honestly. Don't make false claims about products, prices, or your relationship with Cadmas.
• No spam, no misleading advertising, no trademark or paid-search abuse, and no buying through your own link to generate commissions ("self-dealing").
• Follow the rules of the platforms you post on and applicable advertising and disclosure laws (including disclosing that you may earn a commission).
• Don't damage the Cadmas brand or promote in adult, hateful, illegal, or deceptive contexts.

8. Self-purchases & self-dealing

This program only works because everyone brings in real people — new customers, and new affiliates they personally recruit. Recruiters earn a share of their team's sales, and that share is the whole reason recruiting is worth doing. If a person could simply sign themselves up under their own account and buy from their own code, that incentive vanishes — there would be no reason for anyone to recruit anyone, and the opportunity that makes this worth your time collapses for the entire program. That is why this rule is strict: it protects your earnings as much as everyone else's.

• You're welcome to shop the products yourself with any code you like — but when you are the customer, that order earns you no commission. It is credited to the affiliate who recruited you.
• You may not act as your own affiliate. Signing yourself up under your own account, or creating a second account, email, or identity so you can buy from yourself and collect commission, is fraud — it is not what this program is for.
• Doing so will result in immediate termination from the program and forfeiture of all commissions, earned or pending. We enforce this — not to be harsh, but because letting it slide would quietly cheat every honest affiliate who's out doing the real work of building this.

9. Suspension & termination

• Either of us may end your participation at any time. You can close your account whenever you like.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts, and freeze or withhold commissions, for violations of these Terms, fraud, or abuse.
• On good-faith termination, payable commissions already earned will be paid out per the normal schedule. What happens to your owned customers after you leave will be handled per the program's then-current policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms or program details (including rates and windows). We'll post changes here and update the date above. Continued participation means you accept the changes. Changes apply going forward and don't retroactively reduce commissions you've already earned.

11. Relationship

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of Cadmas. You're responsible for your own taxes and expenses. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.
